This is another one of husby's favorite meals. Its super easy to make.
1 lb. ground beef (sometimes I only use 1/2 lb.)
1 (16 oz.) can Bush's Original baked beans
1/4 sweet onion, diced small (if you have it, if not, use a couple dashes onion powder)
1 can (5 ct) refrigerated biscuits (I use the cheapest ones)
a cup or so of shredded cheddar cheese
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Brown hamburger, drain.
3. Spray 8x8 baking pan with cooking spray. Add hamburger.
4. Add can of baked beans and onion to hamburger. Mix well.
5. Cut biscuits in halves. Place around the edge of the casserole and some in the middle if you have room.
6. Sprinkle generously with cheese to your cheesy preference.
7. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until the biscuits are golden.
*Sometimes I add 1/2 to 3/4 cup bbq sauce to the baked beans. It just depends if I have any or not. Its good with or without.
