Grape Salad

I got this recipe from a lady I work with.  I don't know how frugal it is, but its delicious and great for potlucks or bbqs.

4 pounds seedless green grapes
8 oz. sour cream
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Topping ingredients:

1 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup crushed pecans or walnuts

1. Wash and stem grapes. Set aside.
2. In a large bowl, mix sour cream, cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until well blended.
3. Stir grapes into mixture.
4. For topping - combine the brown sugar and nuts.
5. Sprinkle evenly over the top of the grapes covering completely.
6. Chill overnight.
