Frugal Tip of the Day
Take advantage of stores like Harris Teeter that double and sometimes triple coupons. Try to make a list of the items you want to buy before hand. A lot of times these stores mark up their merchandise so much that even using a tripled coupon on the item would still make it more expensive if you were to buy it at Wal Mart or a regular run of the mill grocery store. You don't want to get stuck paying more for an item than you normally would have. I'll usually just make a list of the items I know I'll get for free or for a few cents, that way I don't get suckered into buying the more expensive stuff. You can usually find coupon matchup lists easily on the web by going to Google and typing in (for ex.) Harris Teeter coupon matchup 12/19/10.
