Frugal Tip of the Day

Shop after Christmas for next year's Christmas supplies.  Right now places like Wal Mart and Target have their Christmas wrapping, gift bags, bows, cards, and candy at least 50% off.  Stock up for next year!  Why pay $3 for a roll of wrapping paper next Christmas when you can buy it now for $1 and put it away.  Or better yet, get plain colored paper or gift bags - green, red, blue, silver, gold - and use it year round to wrap birthday or wedding presents.  Also, be on the lookout for the holiday cake mixes and frostings to be on sale also.  These cake mixes typically have the Christmas sprinkles in a separate bag than the cake mix so you can use it for your everyday baking without worrying about it being "Christmas-y".  Also, a lot of times they have the gift sets like Axe, Oil of Olay, Gillette, etc. on clearance also.  Don't forget to pair your coupons with the deals to make the most of the clearance!
